Recognizing our High School Seniors

On May 17, 2015, the youth of St. John’s led the 10:00 service. Our younger children led two songs: an adaptation of Psalm 47 “Clap, Clap, Clap Your Hands” and “If I Were a Butterfly” complete with hand motions. Three of our high school seniors, Caroline Campbell, Andrea Hutson and Danielle Lee preached an inspiring sermon. Since we were commemorating the Ascension of our Lord Jesus to Heaven, our middle school students led a special version of the Prayers of the People where everyone provided prayers which were raised up into the sky in our worship space.

We were pleased to honor our young people who are graduating from high school this year: Caroline Campbell, Ayomide Dixon, Andrea Hutson, Danielle Lee, and Trey Ridley. We wish them blessings as they continue their studies in college in the fall.
