What Membership Means
To be a member of the St. John’s congregation in good standing, you should demonstrate your willingness to practice the Christian life. Such willingness is shown by:
Your stated intention to become a member
Your faithful participation in the ministry of the Church, and
Your stewardship commitment to support St. John’s with a financial contribution and volunteer service in one of our ministries.
As a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, you are expected to:
Worship in the weekly Eucharist
Study the Word of God
Read the St. John’s Weekly newsletter
Have an active ministry
Give sacrificially (tithing is example of sacrifice) of money
Work for the establishing of God’s Kingdom in the home, workplace and community.
