At St. John’s, our teens are full members of our church community and we welcome them to experience many ministries that they can follow as their faith grows.
During this time of virtual church, we miss being able to help our young people gather with other young Christians and look forward to providing these opportunities in the future.
Episcopal Youth Fellowship
7 – 12th Grade
Teens from St. John’s have been active in youth activities sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of Washington for many years.
Youth Confirmation
7 – 12th Grade
We support our youth in making a commitment to their continuing faith through the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Episcopal Church. Confirmation preparation is held for teens every second or third year depending on our student population.
Sunday School Teachers and Volunteers
All volunteers working with children and youth have participated in the “Safeguarding God’s Children” Program which is required by the Episcopal Diocese of Washington.
