Stewardship Campaign

Accept this pledge as a symbol of my/our commitment to follow Jesus through the intentional practice of giving. I/We offer this pledge in gratitude to God and for the work of St. John’s Episcopal Church at home, throughout the Diocese, the nation, and the world.

The tradition of giving back to God and to the church comes from the Biblical practice of "tithing," which means to give back a tenth of our earnings to God (Numbers 18:26). A proportional giving chart is provided below to assist you in determining total commitment amount based on your annual income

Part of our commitment as members of St. John’s is giving to our Church in proportion to our income to support God’s mission through the Church. If you don't already consider your giving in relation to your income, we invite you to take that step. If you already give proportionally, we invite you to consider what it might mean for you to increase the percentage in the coming year, growing toward a tithe of 10 percent and above.
